First Month
I started thinking I might be pregnant when:
Something just didn't seem right...I felt off.
I found out I was pregnant when I:
Peed-on-a-stick!
I felt:
Overwhelemed with emotion.
The first person I told was:
Ray then Melissa
They reacted by:
Yay! Are you happy?
The first ultrasound was:
Haven't had one yet.
My baby will be born:
Sometime late April.
The strangest symptom of pregnancy I had this month was:
None which is very odd.
My hopes:
To have a happy and healthy 9 months and for a baby girl.
My fears:
Raising 2 kids Ack!

Election 08
Please forgive me when I say this but up until this point I hadn’t really put much thought into this year’s coming election. I mean I might have listened to the television if someone was speaking about it and I might have had an occasional chat about it on the telephone but nothing outstanding. That was until Ray got laid off of his job for the second time in one year. OUCH! Talk about a low blow. Then, it suddenly dawned on me that this country was in trouble and our economy was hurting and it is hurting bad. It is affecting families in the worst way. Our bank accounts are empty, we are about to lose our health insurance coverage, and there’s barely enough food to keep on the table. Its crunch time and something has got to change. Now is when we as a family can contribute to change in this country and that is something I’m ready to act on. We will be voting in 08 and hopefully 09 will be a better year.

AHHHH!
My toddler is driving me nuts. He will not listen to a word I say and will continue doing his own thing. I’m at my whit’s end. I know it comes with his age and I just have to keep reminding myself to breath and stay calm. I try not to let him see my anger and frustration but at times it gets so hard. Also he recently started biting. I have no idea where it came from but when I proceed to discipline him, he gets angry and bites. Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this matter? I’m open to any suggestions and/or tips. I’m dedicated to handling this matter as best I can.

Sooooo tired!
Come 5 PM I am fighting to stay awake. It’s amazing how quickly I forgot how exhausting being pregnant is, especially in the first trimester. I had to refer back to Monkey bird’s pregnancy journal to make sure all that I am experiencing is normal. In his journal I wrote about being so tired and how my body is working harder while resting than a no pregnant body is when mountain-climbing. Now is when my body is manufacturing my baby's life support system and the placenta. Whew, I get exhausted just talking about it all. Sprouting bean bird is now about 2 to 4mm from crown to rump. It has formed a distinct head with the first stages of eyes and ears. The spinal column and cord are forming; buds that will grow limbs are also forming. Life really is a miracle. I can’t wait to experience it all again.

Welcome!
This is my new blog. I decided to create a blog that will tie all subjects up into one. As many of you already know, we are pleased to announce that we are expecting again. I am due sometime in late April. The road to trying to conceive number two was a little bumpy. I was beginning to worry but I vowed to remain hopeful and I am absolutely thrilled to be having a spring baby on the way. I think having a spring baby is going to be grand. Also I think that Monkey bird is going to be a fantastic big brother. Hopefully you will join us on this journey. We are excited and cannot wait to see what lies ahead.
